Practicing Good Mental Hygiene



In our fast-paced society, with all of the obligations many of us have on a day to day basis, it can be incredibly difficult to find the time to take care of yourself. The connection between mind and body is becoming more understood, but it can be difficult to make ourselves a priority when we have jobs, families, and pressing issues. Unfortunately, if you don't make your body and mind a priority, one or both will begin to fall by the wayside in your life. For those of us that suffer from mental disorders such as depression or bipolar disorder, our physical bodies will also begin to suffer if active steps aren't taken to prevent this.
